![]() I'll be honest enough in saying that I don't know at what point the Power Fist should have been available, but it just seems like it's purpose is moot the moment you've obtained it.ģ) Maybe there should be dedicated areas that respawn cooking ingredients There's not going to be much of reason afterward for the Power Fist to be useful, outside of just dicking around or future DLC.Įven with the Khopesh, you could theoretically still make use of this weapon, because you might need to still work on The Ark quest, and this weapon would pair well with the Lumberjack Outfit and Digital Wrist Watch for plant/wood farming. ![]() I'm approaching the last step in the main quest, and yet, when it's all said and done and I've opened 2nd floor of The Ark, obtaining this weapon will be for naught. This topic also runs into my next gripeĢ) The Power Fist is pointless by the time you acquire itĪdmittedly, I'm griping about something I don't have yet, but I think there's still some merit to the argument. I wouldn't be opposed to this outfit being a level 33+ item, or one gained by defeating a specific boss. Alternatively, you could also have a benefit where repeatedly hitting the same object incrementally increases your swing speed (+15%, 30%, 45%, etc). I don't think we necessarily have to have an outfit that provides additional damage, but I think there could have been other unique ways to make it suitable for that tool type.įor example, you could have a Construction outfit that causes your blunt tools to have a 33% chance to deal AoE damage to nearby structures. I got excited when I obtained the Hard Hat headgear as an invention, because it would have tied in nicely with breaking apart blunt-based objects. There's nothing like this for Blunt weapons. trees, and is beneficial when you need to mass farm wood, plant matter, etc. Contrast that to the Lumberjack Outfit, which provides 50% additional melee damage vs. ![]() This can sometimes lead to tedium when it comes to farming materials like stone. For much of the game, you're pretty much reliant on the Sledgehammer or Baseball bat in destroying blunt-only objects, and nothing seems to aid you in improving their efficiency outside of leveling them up. It would have been great if there was a viable outfit that functioned as a benefit for Blunt tools. That said, from what I've glanced in terms of things left to do, as well as my own experiences, there's a few things I wish were different with the game. Overall, I've enjoyed my time with the game, and I'm already at the point where I'm nearing the end. ![]()
